Earlier in the year, Margaret and June joined a guided tour of the “Old Arboretum” at Westonbirt, to see its famous collection of rhododendrons. They also heard how the arboretum came into being and its subsequent history, and learned about some of the collectors who travelled the world seeking exotic plants and trees.
