Alex Chalk MP for Cheltenham, enjoyed a virtual afternoon tea of Earl Grey and shortbread biscuits, via Zoom on Friday 27th November, with Marianne, one of our volunteers. Robin was there too, to ensure that the recording quality was spot on and he managed to capture these two photos.
This was a first for us and having had a pre-listen to the 25min recording, it was very successful. Alex is very engaging in his responses and the interview went out to our Listeners on the week before Christmas. You can listen to the recording below.
Marianne’s interview with Alex is the first of three she hopes to be doing, as we are also inviting the MP’s representing Tewkesbury and The Cotswolds. Concentrating on getting to know ‘the man behind the public figure’, each of these three interviews should make for some excellent listening.
