Marianne Gaston recently recorded her last piece for The Man Behind the Public Face trilogy, speaking with Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown MP for The Cotswolds. By this time, our listeners will have had the opportunity to listen to all three recordings and we’re sure they will have been enjoyed.
I chose the MP’s and hoped each of them would agree to talk to us, because I thought our Listeners may like to hear something about the “man behind the public figure”. All three, Alex Chalk, Laurence Robertson and Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, entered in to the relaxed spirit of the interview. I had sent them a set of questions beforehand (the same questions to each one). It was great fun learning about their private lives, hobbies, talents etc and I found all three to be great raconteurs. Each shared an amusing experience about their parliamentary experience which were all very funny. I would like to thank them all, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I’m sure they did too.
