Stan’s Cafe is a theatre company based in Birmingham. Among its many projects is a series of “guided tours” of famous rivers, describing their geography and history and illustrated by textile maps.
The River Severn tour was written by Craig Stephens from Stan’s Cafe and illustrated by an embroidered map created by Jo Teague (the artist behind the Tewkesbury “Stitch Story” embroidery).
